Stress can be managed by certain therapies, counseling and support, doing yoga and regular walking with good sleep. Yoga which has the breathing and stretching exercises help us to relieve stress. By doing yoga we can relax our mind and body which helps us to reduce the stress level. Therefore, IBS treatment include yoga and exercise which plays a role in managing the stress.

Third, proper medications also help in treating IBS. The fiber supplements or laxatives to relieve constipation associated with IBS and an antispasmodic to control muscle spasms of the colon. Happy stomach is equal to happy you

We were on our annual vacation visiting one of our friends farm house. We were at least five families with lots of kids. It was great fun to be around with your friends as well as have all the time in the world to do your favorite activity. Some of us went for fishing to a nearby lake, some went hiking, some were just relaxing and catching up with their lost sleep on hammock, but some of us went to explore the nature to a nearby hill. We were a group of three people, nature lovers you can say. All of us wandered and recognized new plants, discussed their benefits or peculiar characteristics. The flora and fauna was wonderful, we were amused with the nature’s gift to us. Just a few feet away from us there was a small house and we could sight some people around. We approached them. They welcomed us and seemed to be very friendly. After normal pleasantries they told us that they were doctors and were carrying out some research on natural IBS treatment. This was something very much new to us. So we requested them to explain us in details. They were more than happy to describe it. Here is the excerpt of what they had to tell us.

Irritable bowel syndrome is something which is very much commonly found among humans. irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is basically chronic gastrointestinal disorder caused by unknown factors. Common symptoms of this disorder include abdominal bloating and gassiness, cramping or pain, and altered bowel habits, meaning no regular motions. Irritable bowel syndrome can also be labeled as spastic colon or functional bowel disease. It is not inherited, but is mostly developed due the eating and bowel motion practice of a person himself. This is very common and may not be disastrous, but it definitely has some adverse effects on our health. Following are some of the irritable bowel syndrome remedies: proper intake of food, medical advice and regular exercise. The main reason for this syndrome is consuming gaseous food like dairy products, vegetables like cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, beans and so on. Avoiding these veggies may help in overcoming this problem. Leaving your stomach light and healthy will certainly have its own benefits. Taking calcium supplement may help many. Combining regular exercise certainly helps in improving overall digestion and health.

Things you should know about irritable bowel syndrome and its remedies

You may also notice mucus in the stool. A lot of American adults complain to their doctors about this problem. However there are irritable bowel syndrome remedies apart from treatment.

According to doctors providing IBS treatment is complicated because it is difficult to understand the cause. Therefore apart from medication lifestyle changes are also required to get over the problem. There are medications which act on the nervous thereby reducing the pain. Usually antidepressant medications are prescribed by medical practitioners to reduce the pain. Nowadays new drugs are being used to treat this condition but these drugs lead to lot of side effects and therefore physicians prescribe them only when the case is very serious. There are also gender specific drugs which work of women effectively but not on men. These too have side effects. Actually medications are either laxatives or stool softeners. Though these provide quick relief the long term side effects cannot be overlooked.

Therefore if you are seeking irritable bowel syndrome remedies that do not have side effects you should opt for alternative treatments.
